Working It

          She couldn’t get herself involved in any activities because her social anxiety worsened and as time went on, she began to feel very depressed. She had no motivation to go to school because she felt useless. Carmela wants it to stop. But the bullies kept coming and coming until she wants to end the pain already because she felt like she’s had enough. She looked for a knife at exactly twelve in the midnight when everyone is asleep and when she would feel very alive.

          She TRIED cutting herself, but she stopped, Carmela went to her room and just cried herself to sleep. After that miserable night, Carmela realized that she should believe in herself more because no one knows her more than anyone else. Carmela started to let go of the feelings she was keeping and let God help her through her new journey. The next day, she confronted her mom about the pain she is going through and tears started falling down on her cheeks. Her mom was so angry about the fact that students can do such thing.

          She then pursue Carmela to started working out. With summer break slowly coming to an end, She started working out, started to have a strict diet because she gets so much anxiety when she recall the 4- year non-stop bullying. She started losing weight and that made her so happy so she continued doing it until sophomore year has come. Everyone was staring at her because they never though that in just a short period of time, she would lose so much weight. A friend of hers asked,” Uy! You lose so much weight! What made you want to do it?” Carmela replied, “Myself” and then her friend asked “how?” “CONSISTENCY” she said.
